BREAKING NEWS – Baltimore, Maryland – The judge in the trial of an officer charged in the death of Freddie Gray whose neck was broken in the back of a police van blasted prosecutors for withholding information from the defense. In a hearing before Officer Caesar Goodson’s trial, Baltimore Circuit Judge Barry Williams admonished the state and determined that they violated discovery rules. D.A. Marilyn Mosby explained that she withheld the information based on her suspicions that the defense would more than likely use it to acquit Goodson, and she did not want to take that risk. Judge Williams then decided to delay the trial until Mosby was given “another” psychological evaluation.
