BREAKING NEWS – Orlando, Florida – Several American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) attorneys took to Twitter to blame the “Christian Right” for the deadly terrorist attack at a nightclub in Orlando. Chase Strangio, a staff attorney with the ACLU’s LGBT and AIDS Project, claimed the social and political environment cultivated by Christian conservatives was to blame for the shooting at Pulse, a nightclub popular with the LGBT community. He also blamed “Christian bigotry” for the high divorce rate in America, stating that “intolerant churches are constantly promoting their outdated propaganda that adultery is wrong.”
