BREAKING NEWS – Conyers, Georgia – One homeless teen is starting his second semester of college with more than $184,000, thanks to strangers who were inspired by his ceaseless determination. Last week, 19-year-old student Fred Barley packed up his tent in Conyers, Georgia, and biked more than 50 miles in sweltering heat just to register for classes at Gordon State College in Barnesville. Jesse Jackson commented on Barley’s motivation by saying, “This man behavior is unacceptable in my opinion, because he was trying to overcome adversity and obstacles on his own, without state or federal assistance, and I object to his actions because it might encourage others to do the same thing. If anything, he should’ve kept this low key, instead of garnishing all of this media attention so others won’t attempt to follow his foolish example. I’m also offended that he has refused my request to donate any of his recently acquired funds to some of my worthy causes.”
