BREAKING NEWS – San Francisco, California – The City by the Bay has a new claim to fame: It has the highest rate of marijuana use in the country, according to a new survey. In a survey, which was conducted from 2012 to 2014 nationwide, 15.5 percent of people in San Francisco said they had used marijuana in the past month. That’s much higher than the national average of 7.7 percent. Mayor Ed Lee explained the top ranking by saying, “It’s not that we have a bunch of dope addicts in the city. It’s just that always being at least slightly loaded, is the best way to deal with the reality of the overall weirdness in this increasingly bazaar community.”
