BREAKING NEWS – Los Angeles, California – Ellen DeGeneres has defended a tweet she posted about Usain Bolt, after facing accusations of racism. After the Jamaican runner’s big win in the Olympics 100 meter semifinals, Ellen took to Twitter to make a joke about the 29-year-old sprinter on her Twitter account. She photoshopped an image of herself on his back and wrote alongside it: “This is how I’m running errands from now on. #Rio2016.” DeGeneres later doubled down on her creating the image and her comment, explaining, “I still think the joke was funny. All of my white followers in southern Mississippi found it hysterical!”
