BREAKING NEWS – San Francisco, California – NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick is refusing to stand for US national anthem due to according to him the ”oppression of black people”. The NFL star recently signed a 6 year $114 million contract with the 49ers, including a NFL record $61 million guaranteed. “I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color,” Kaepernick explained. When asked if he would be willing to donate a portion of his salary to help black causes, he responded. “I would love to do that. But unfortunately I cannot, because I demanded that it was put in writing in my contract, that strictly prohibits me from giving money away to any charitable organization, no matter how much I think they need it. To just hand out money is exactly what white people want me to do, so they can laugh at me when I end my NFL career, and wind up broke! So no matter how much I believe in a cause, I’m not giving them a red cent of my hard earned cash!”
