BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – Russian hackers tried to penetrate the computer networks of the Republican National Committee, using the same techniques that allowed them to infiltrate its Democratic counterpart, according to U.S. officials who have been briefed on the attempted intrusion. But the intruders failed to get past security defenses on the RNC’s computer networks, the officials said. “This only confirms the wimpiness and how cowardly the RNC is”, John Podesta stated at the Center for American Progress. “They used a lot of additional security because they are scared for the public to know what really goes on behind their closed doors. Whereas, in the DNC, we had lax substandard security measures, because we aren’t scared or ashamed for the world to know the depth of our corruptness and our universally low opinion of the likes of Hillary Clinton.”
