BREAKING NEWS – Salt Lake City, Utah – The Mormon church says older teens in the United States and Canada will no longer take part in two Boy Scouts programs, starting next year. The church and the Boy Scouts of America have had a relationship for more than a century. It was the first partner to sponsor Scouting in the United States, and to this day remains the nation’s largest sponsor. But it comes at a time the church has expressed reservations about the Boy Scouts’ decision to allow gay and transgender troop leaders. “We want each of our young boys to aspire to have countless wives, not boyfriends,” said a spokesman for the LDS church. The Boy Scouts of America responded by saying the LDS church is simply showing its bigotry toward pedophiles that enjoy camping.
