BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Mayor Bill de Blasio skips slain NYPD cop’s vigil to praise police in Germany. He flew all the way to Hamburg, Germany, to praise that city’s police in a speech — while cops back home continued to mourn, without him, the assassination of one of their own in The Bronx. De Blasio said in Germany during a tv interview, “I simply wanted to get away from New York City for a while because at times, it can be a very dangerous place to live… and I needed a break. Back there, innocent people are being murdered. It’s crazy! Who needs it? I plan to just lay low here for a while until someone in the Big Apple figures this thing out. Right now, it doesn’t concern me.”
