BREAKING NEWS – Chicago, Illinois – United CEO Oscar Munoz made headlines earlier this year following the airline’s several embarrassing incidents, including the highly publicized dragging incident, but now his name is in the news for an entirely different reason. In a letter he penned to United employees on, Munoz vowed to donate up to $1 million of his personal fortune to help United employees affected by Hurricane Harvey, reports Bloomberg. According to the memo, he urged his workforce to contribute whatever they could to aid in employee relief efforts, promising to match their donations up to that million-dollar mark. Munoz also stated, that as far as the mandatory evacuations of people from their flooded homes, he would be willing to send some United Airlines employees to help. He explained that if the feds wanted him to, he will send some flight attendants and air marshals to Houston, that would remove the people that refused to leave their homes, after first applying their new tradition of brutally beating up the reluctant occupants. He then added that his employees would also threaten to throw every citizen off the rescue boats, if they didn’t remain in their assigned seating.
