BREAKING NEWS – Quebec, Canada – Lawmakers in the Canadian province of Quebec adopted a religious neutrality law that would require citizens to uncover their faces during state services. But critics say the bill unfairly targets people because of their religion. The law — said to be the first of its kind in North America — calls for a ban on any face coverings for people giving or receiving a service from the state. Muslims against the bill believe it targets their religion. And many of them also said that the real reason for the bill, is to make it easier to determine the gender of the person under the covering that may be wearing a suicide vest, and they feel that is the job of the coroners when they are attempting to identify the remains.
