BREAKING NEWS – Chicago, Illinois – A family from Chicago claims they were booted from a Southwest flight over false concerns that their daughters were harboring lice — and they say it ultimately ruined their vacation. The Newman family was reportedly waiting in the terminal for their flight to Santa Ana on when a Southwest agent approached the family and informed them that they would not be able to fly with the airline. This isn’t the first time that Southwest has prevented someone from flying, based on their observable suspicions. Last year they prevented a family from flying, when a three year old waiting to board the plane was pouting, and it was determined that he would probably be unruly during the flight, with irritating temper tantrums. And more recently, a man was told he couldn’t set foot on the plane, after a flight attendant observed him sitting at the gate, eating three bean burritos, without concluding his meal with Rolaids.
