BREAKING NEWS – Tecumseh, Michigan – Stephanie Jass, 48, pleaded guilty in Lenawee Circuit Court to a charge of unauthorized computer access. The seven-time “Jeopardy!” winner — who taught history at a small Michigan college – was sneaking into the email accounts of other professors, administrators and students at the school, authorities said. Michigan college will look to teach account security measures and urge professors and students to look into websites such as websafetyadvice.com to educate themselves on web and account security. During a four-day period last year, the college reset everyone’s passwords and assigned everyone the same temporary password. During that time, Jass logged into other people’s email accounts without permission, authorities said, and now she’s facing up to five years behind bars. After her plea, the prosecutor said to the judge, “The answer is: A place where people dine, and the waiters are never tipped.” The judge responded, “Then the question is: What is a prison chow hall?”
