BREAKING NEWS – Atlanta, Georgia – Brian Kemp announced his official resignation as secretary of state as he prepares to become Georgia’s 83rd governor. Kemp, who also announced members of his transition team, appeared in a joint news conference with outgoing Gov. Nathan Deal, while Kemp’s opponent in the nationally watched race, Democrat Stacey Abrams, still has not conceded the race. And when she found out that Kemp has named his transition team and is preparing to move into the governor’s mansion, she rented several U-Haul trucks and parked them in front of the governor’s mansion preparing to move in. “I will not give up the fight until I am satisfied that I lost,” she told a reporter. “Kemp and I will be roommates in the governor’s mansion until this matter is resolved, unless he is some kind of sexist bigot.” She then continued to monitor the voting tallies on her cell phone, after rolling up the window of the U-Haul truck that she is currently sleeping in.
