BREAKING NEWS – San Francisco, California – Free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick reportedly would play for the Washington Redskins, or any team, should he get offered a job with three weeks left in the regular season. Kaepernick, who last played for the San Francisco 49ers, would play for Washington despite the controversy over the team’s logo and name and team owner Dan Snyder’s criticism about players kneeling during the national anthem. “I won’t kneel if Washington signs me,” Kaepernick explained. “In hindsight, it was a stupid idea I had, that caught on. And as far as the Redskins logo, I don’t understand what the Native Americans are complaining about, because they are never stopped by cops or racially profiled, and as far as I know, they have never been subjected to any historical injustices.”
