BREAKING NEWS – Albany, New York – State Senator Kevin S. Parker, a Brooklyn Democrat, casually tweeted at the Republicans’ deputy communications director Candice Giove, telling her to commit suicide. It seemed to all begin with a Twitter post from Giove, who works for the outgoing Republican majority leader, John J. Flanagan, calling attention to the possibly inappropriate use of Mr. Parker’s state-issued parking placard. “The placard is assigned to @Senator Parker. However, the license plate on the placard does not match the vehicle. So he either used it in another car or gave it to someone else, both of which are not permitted,” Giove tweeted. Parker who has been lobbying for stronger gun laws, later stated, “I am not a hypocrite, because I was not encouraging Ms. Giove to take her own life, through the use of a firearm.”
