BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – In a New York Times op-ed about “Mary Poppins”, Professor Daniel Pollack-Pelzner slammed the iconic dance scene where Poppins joins Dick Van Dyke’s Bert on a rooftop for the song “Step In Time.” The Linfield College literature professor deemed the classic 1964 film “Mary Poppins” racist, accusing Julie Andrews of “blacking up” her face with soot while dancing with chimney sweeps. He also said he has has no doubt that the white chimney sweep dancers were not really human, and stated, “I have compelling evidence that those men were computer generated, because Caucasians cannot dance that rhythmically. And that bolsters my theory that back in 1964, Pixar and Apple computers jointly created the iconic rooftop scene.”
