BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Embattled Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam has now issued an explanation after he mistakenly called African slaves “indentured servants” during an interview on CBS. “I now realized that I was factually incorrect,” he began “They were not indentured servants, they were slaves that came here in 1619, from Africa and landed on our shores in Old Point Comfort, what we call now Fort Monroe. And I also think it was unfair, not to tell the Africans what was in store for them 400 years ago, when they booked a vacation on Carnival Cruise that was heading for the United States.”
