BREAKING NEWS – Houston, Texas – Jack Buckingham, the son of Jane Buckingham, a marketing executive and parenting book author, said he didn’t know his mother allegedly paid bribes to help him get into USC as part of a nationwide college admissions cheating scheme. She allegedly paid $50,000 for Mark Riddell, dubbed the “best test-taker” to take the ACT exam for her son. “At first I was told by my parents that Mark was going to the test for me, because he had better penmanship than I did as he blackened out the multiple choice answers,” explained Jack. “And later I was told that Mark didn’t take the test for me at all, and I was accepted at USC because at that time for a limited time only, the school was admitting students that had a ‘D’ average.”
