She didn’t take a plea deal for the fraud charges she’s currently facing in the college admissions cheating scandal, and that’s reportedly because the actress doesn’t think of her actions as illegal. “People are saying I don’t have a grasp of reality on what is right and wrong, and what’s legal and illegal, and it’s not true.” Loughlin said at a press conference. “I simply prefer to have a trial of my peers, as long as I’ll be allowed to financially negotiate with the jury foreman through texts during the courtroom proceedings.”
