BREAKING NEWS – Chicago, Illinois – Jussie Smollett hit back at a social media user who compared his alleged hate crime hoax to a 12-year-old girl who recently admitted she made up a story about how her dreadlocks were cut off by her white schoolmates. She claimed three white boys cut her hair while on the playground at the Immanuel Christian School in Springfield, Va., but later confessed the incident didn’t really happen after security footage couldn’t corroborate her story. “The two incidents are completely different,” Smollett explained. “That little girl fabricated the story to impress her classmates or maybe to get her some attention at home. I lied to get a better contract on Fox, and to promote my brand. Mine was a monetary ambitious hoax, whereas her’s was just a child acting like a fool, with nothing really worthy to gain. Her parents should be ashamed of themselves and her. It’s unfortunate in today’s society how much children are out of control. This makes our future look depressing and bleak.”
