BREAKING NEWS – Salt Lake City, Utah -The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, commonly referred to as the Mormon Church, responded to a recently filed whistleblower complaint that accuses the church of stockpiling $100 billion in accounts intended for charitable works, misleading members and avoiding taxes.

A whistleblower alleges that billions of dollars collected in tithes — mandatory donations by members — was invested in an investment arm of the church, Ensign Peak Advisors, but in 22 years, has not been distributed to charitable causes in accordance with IRS rules, according to the complaint filed with the IRS.

Russell M. Nelson who is the president of the church responded to the complaint. “To the non-Mormon, they won’t understand why we’re doing what we’re doing, but I’ll try to explain,” he began. “When Mormon men die, they become gods. So some of the money will be used in their next life for them to buy new homes, furniture, toiletries, etc. But most of the money will be used to build a very tall wall around the entire state of Utah, to deter multiple wives of polygamists from attempting to escape, and to prevent black people from sneaking in.”
