BREAKING NEWS – Seattle, Washington – Residents who live near Seattle’s “police-free” zone called CHOP – “Capitol Hill Organized Protest” –  expressed relief after Mayor Jenny Durkan announced that city officials are working to end the protest, following two shootings over the weekend, one of them deadly.

The mayor did not give an immediate timeline for clearing out the occupation but said “additional steps” would be examined if people don’t leave voluntarily. “I know this is taking longer than people want it to,” Durkan explained. “But the reason for that, is I was waiting for the leaders in CHOP to let me know if they had any extradition laws, so we can arrest a murder inside there that killed someone over the weekend. Currently, we are discussing with Antifa a prisoner swap.”
