BREAKING NEWS – Chicago, Illinois – Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx announced that she pulled out of a campaign debate due to attacks from her Republican rival.

Judge Pat O’Brien last month called Foxx a “social worker, not a prosecutor,” at a fiery debate between the two candidates.

“We learned during the recent Ed board interviews, that the State’s Attorney participated in with Mr. O’Brien, that he will instead use the time for Trump-like name calling and fear mongering,” Foxx spokesperson Alex Sims told the Chicago Tribune in a statement. “He wants to focus Foxx’s refusal to prosecute countless cases of letting looters and rioters run amuck, which is her discretion in this judicial system. We also believe that any white male that criticizes her for any reason, is based on racism and sexism, and any black person that criticizes her is obviously a race traitor, that probably lives in some of the really nice uppity suburbs.”
