BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., said she thought she might die during a “traumatizing” close encounter amid the chaos of last week’s deadly breach of the U.S. Capitol by pro-Trump rioters.
“I can tell you that I had a very close encounter where I thought I was going to die,” she said during an Instagram Live. “And you have all of those thoughts where, at the end of your life…all of these thoughts come rushing to you. And that’s what happened to a lot of us on Wednesday and I did not think – I did not know if I was going to make it to the end of that day alive. These republican rioters, were not as well behaved or traumatized as BLM protests or Antifa, because when I joined them in the streets, they would give me a heads-up and tell me to duck when they were about to throw a brick through a store window, or a Molotov cocktail at the cops.”
