BREAKING NEWS – Auburn Hills, Michigan – Jeep has removed its Super Bowl LV commercial starring Bruce Springsteen from YouTube and other social media following the revelation that the music superstar had been charged with DWI and reckless driving in his home state of N.J. in November.
“I respect their position, but I try to focus on the positive,” explained Springsteen. “Yes, I was drunk and that was totally wrong. But on the other hand I remember when I was intoxicated, chasing people across their lawn in a Jeep, and they barely got into their house as I drove up on their porches in pursuit. In other words, you can focus on the fact that those people are lucky to be alive as I drove under the influence, or you can be impressed with what a Jeep can do with a four wheel drive off road, as well as on rickety wooden porches.”
