BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s office denied claims made by Lindsey Boylan, a former aide to the governor who accused him of sexual harassment — including during an October 2017 flight.
Boylan, the former deputy secretary for economic development and special adviser to the governor, penned a Medium post in which she alleged that Cuomo created a “pervasive” culture of “sexual harassment and bullying.” She detailed an incident in which Cuomo allegedly suggested the pair play “strip poker” as they flew together following an event.
“As usual, the media focuses on the wrong thing,” explained Cuomo. “They are obsessing over the fact that I asked Lindsey to play strip poker, instead of focusing on her refusal to play, which suggests that she’s probably a dishonest person that’s worried about getting caught cheating at cards.”
