BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – One of the most powerful Democrat lawmakers in New York issued a statement calling for Gov. Andrew Cuomo, to resign from office because he is facing multiple allegations of sexual harassment.
State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, a Democrat from Yonkers, said in a statement that the allegations are “drawing away from the business of government.”
“New York is still in the midst of the pandemic and is still facing the societal, health and economic impacts of it [the virus],” she said. “We need to govern without daily distraction. For the good of the state Governor Cuomo must resign.”
Cuomo responded to Stewart-Cousins suggestion. “I will not resign,” he began. “It has been long accepted that men like me that are in very powerful political positions become whores. This is nothing new, so I’m typical, so what. I think my accusers are uncomfortable with me looking at their naked bodies, that’s why they turned me down, and they should take the time to deal with their own self-esteem issues, instead of appearing as adolescent tattle tales. Besides, 50% of my staffers have yielded to my sexual demands. So as far as I’m concerned, I’m batting 500%, and even the most devout Yankees fans would be envious of that.”
