BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Authorities alleged in court documents that Ghislaine Maxwell frequently did not flush her own toilet, “among other things”, as first reported by the DailyBeast.
It followed a complaint by Maxwell, that guards from the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, New York, forced her to clean the cell as a form of punishment.
In fact, staff from the MDC were described as having told her to “clean her cell because it had become very dirty,” the DailyBeast reported
“Among other things, MDC staff noted that the defendant frequently did not flush her toilet after using it, which caused the cell to smell,” the court document said.
Her lawyer Bobbi Sternheim argued that Maxwell’s constitutional rights were violated. “They had no right to force her clean up her cell,” explained her attorney. “There is no law on the books that compels an inmate to flush their toilet on a regular basis. The stench from her cell hasn’t killed anyone, even though we admit it has made people dizzy that have walked passed it, and a couple of them fainted. When I was in her cell preparing for her trial while wearing an oxygen mask, I realize how much I admire her, plus I have new appreciation for skunks.”
