BREAKING NEWS – Atlanta, Georgia – Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms recently told her supporters that she would not seek reelection this year.
The Atlanta mayor made the announcement in a private call with friends and staffers, first reported by the AJC.
“My love for this city is deeper than probably many others standing here because my family goes back 100 years in the city,” Bottoms said to a close friend that preferred to remain anonymous. “So whether I am mayor of this city or not, I will do everything that I can possibly do to keep our communities safe. But the out-of-control stupidity of lunatics like Stacey Abrams, has made my job extremely difficult. I can’t count the sleepless nights I’ve had, hoping that a mental health facility in this state made straitjackets in her size.”
