BREAKING NEWS – Richmond, Virginia – Virginia’s Republican Gov.-elect Glenn Youngkin doesn’t take office until Jan. 15 – yet some critics Tuesday tried to blame him, instead of the commonwealth’s outgoing Democratic incumbent, for a 179-mile-long traffic mess on Interstate 95.
Hundreds of travelers – including U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va. — were stranded in their vehicles overnight Monday into Tuesday in frigid conditions along the northern third of the highway in Virginia.
“This shows that even though Youngkin won the election, he is not qualified to be governor,” explained Kaine. “Youngkin should be trying to do something! He knows full well that sitting governor Ralph Northam, is currently too unstable to make any rational decisions regarding the horrific weather conditions, because he’s still a resident in a mental healthy facility, trying to emotionally recover from Terry McAuliffe getting his stupid a** kicked in the last election.”
