BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Whoopi Goldberg has demanded the British royal family to apologize for their colonial past, stressing that the crown cannot “ignore the fact that Britain ran roughshod over India for years.”
The co-host of “The View” slammed the monarchy when discussing the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s ongoing tour of the Caribbean.
“We cannot ignore the fact that Britain ran roughshod over India for years,” said the 66-year-old. “Let us not forget, when we talk about what needs to happen, all the folks that need to apologize. I also feel that Egypt should apologize to the Hebrews/Jews for what happened in the bible, the Chicago Police Department should apologize for accepting bribes from Al Capone in the 1920’s, and Luke Skywalker should apologize for destroying a Death Star allegedly prompted by his racist view toward Darth Vader for wearing a black mask, assuming the villain was from a ‘hood’ that was far far away.”
