BREAKING NEWS – London, England – King Charles III addressed the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth for the first time following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
He noted that Queen Elizabeth II made a promise to live a life of service to the UK and Commonwealth on her 21st birthday.
“That was more than a promise,” the new king admitted. “It was a profound personal commitment which defined her whole life. She made sacrifices for duty. her dedication, and devotion were sovereign never wavered through change and progress sadness and loss.
He gave his son William the title of Prince of Wales – a title he held before he became king – during the address. Kate Middleton will now hold the title of Princess of Wales. And to his younger son Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, he gave them the title the “Duke and Duchess of Broke Losers”.
