BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., and others including Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., blasted “The View” co-host Joy Behar after she claimed Scott “doesn’t get” racism while comparing him to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.
“He’s one of these guys, like Clarence Thomas, Black Republican, who believes in pulling yourself up by your bootstraps, rather than understanding the systemic racism that African Americans face in this country and other minorities. He doesn’t get it. Neither does Clarence,” Behar said during “The View.” She later stated, “I don’t particularly like or respect black people, Whoopi will tell you that. But I detest black republicans almost as much as I hate black arrogant NBA superstars that date exclusively white women, because none of them have ever looked at me twice after a game.”
