BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – President Biden raised eyebrows on social media this week after appearing to reveal plans to build a railroad from the Pacific Ocean “across” the Indian Ocean.
“We have plans to build a railroad from the Pacific all the way across the Indian Ocean,” Biden told the League of Conservation Voters at their annual dinner in Washington, D.C.
The combined width of the two oceans is around 18,000 miles, and engineers doubt the possibility of a floating railroad. Earlier this year, Biden said he planned on building a road from Houston, Texas all the way to Mars, to eliminate the high cost of NASA’s rockets. He said to pay for the project, people driving to the nearby planet, will have to pay a toll of only $1 every 150 miles, during the 34 million mile trip.
