BREAKING NEWS – New York City, New York – A liberal columnist at The New York Times admitted that some on the left have ignored how the breakdown of the family has greatly contributed to the wealth inequality and child poverty they fight to fix.

Times opinion columnist Nicholas Kristof stated in his piece that the issue is liberals’ “blind spot” and that ignoring the “existence of two-parent privilege” for children furthers “the apparatus of inequality in the United States.”

“We believe that one parent, is all children should have,” said the ACLU in response to Kristof. “With two parents, it increases the possibility of one them being a substandard mom or dad. With just only of them in the house, it dramatically increases the likelihood of the child growing up to be a productive citizen and/or a well respected model inmate.”
