BREAKING NEWS – Washington, D.C. – The House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning a pro-Palestinian activist chant as antisemitic – but 43 Democrats and one Republican voted against it.
A House GOP-led resolution introduced by Rep. Anthony D’Esposito, R-N.Y., to formally criticize the use of the phrase “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” passed in a 377 to 44 vote. All four members of the Squad voted against it.
“According to the bible, Egypt enslaved the Jews for four hundred years,” said Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich. “I have only hated them and wanted them wiped off the earth for only 47 years. So, by a numeric comparison, my position it’s not that harsh.”
