Squalling Seagulls by Line Gauthier

White winged creatures flying across the blue
High and blithe in crispy crisp dimension
They’ve no use for the likes of me and you
Would live quite well without our attention

Majestic they climb the stairs to heaven
Their carefree wingspan slicing through the air
Clutch my ticket lucky number seven
Win or lose seagulls simply do not care

Squalling seagulls sip the morning sunshine
Then spread their wings wide easy and free
Lesson learnt for a life without confine
Uncomplicating lives to nth degree
