I was just informed by one of my relatives that I have been uninvited to our upcoming family picnic, because of a recent incident that happened between me and my cousin. Unfortunately, I have a cousin that’s constantly running from the police. There is rarely a time when he doesn’t have a warrant issued for his arrest, as law enforcement is constantly searching for him. He has recently been under psychiatric care and he’s trying to get his life together. I was informed by his immediate family that he has nightmares regularly about the police being hot on his trail, and he has panic attacks during the day, anytime he sees something that reminds him of when he was being pursued. I suggested that he needed a pet for companionship to calm his nerves, and his family agreed. The mistake I made was going out and buying him a bloodhound. Oops!!!
