Buick has a “Park Avenue”, Lincoln has a “Town Car” and Chevrolet has a “Suburban”. All three of these titles reflect a nice part of a metropolitan area, suggesting middle class or higher. I came from a rough part of Chicago, and I think these car manufacturers should also name cars that reflected my environment. How about one called “Rundown Raggedy Neighborhood” or maybe “Projex”. This is just another example of the auto industry missing out on a key market. No wonder they’re struggling so much.
