I just endured a very humiliating break-up when I was dumped by a policewoman. I knew the relationship was over when she saw me crossing a street illegally. Because she knew me personally, she said I had a habit of doing this when we were dating. So, she issued me a citation for jaywalking, and then kicked me to the curb after she threw me under the bus. (This is why I hate living in a big city).
