For years, a close friend of mine designed and built wooden overpasses all over the country. When he didn’t get the raise he felt he deserved, he was so angry, that he literally torched every structure that he created. When his boss was informed of his malicious acts, his employment was immediately terminated. (I guess it’s more than just a cliché, warning people not to burn their bridges).
