The most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me on a date, was when I was suppose to have dinner with this woman at a Chinese restaurant. I never had Chinese food before and I knew nothing about their culture. She told me to practice using their eating utensils, to insure that I wouldn’t feel awkward using them for the first time. My date was running late and I was very hungry, so she encouraged me to order for myself, and it was ok for me to eat before she got there. When she walked in and saw what I was using to pick up the food on my plate, she immediately walked out laughing while pointing at me. I later found out that I clearly misunderstood her regarding eating utensils, because she told me to practice using chopsticks, not Chapsticks. What the…
