I was about to enter a Dollar Store, when I saw a homeless man sitting on the ground. After thinking about it momentarily, I went back to my car and got a pen and a small notebook. I then approached the man and asked him what he needed in the store. As he spoke, I made a list of the items he desired and their quantities. When I was finished writing, I tore the list from the notebook and handed it to him. Then I said, “Sir, if you ever get a job, you can go into this store and buy these things.” Even though he looked out of shape, I was surprised at how strong he was when he grabbed me and tried to throw me through a plate glass window. I guess some days it doesn’t pay to give people financial advice.
