I learned in my youth to be very careful in choosing my words. Here’s an example why. One day when my parents called home while visiting family across town, they asked what me and my siblings we were up to. My sister was making hotdogs, and she liked the bread warm, so I told my parents she had bun in the oven. My father ended up getting two speeding tickets driving home he was driving so fast, and he paid for them by taking the money out of my weekly allowance.
