If I ran the USPS, I would be transparent about the fees. For example, I don’t believe people should have to pay for “tracking”, unless the package is delivered by train. There shouldn’t be any “shipping” costs either, unless the item gets transported over a large body of water. And people shouldn’t have to mail anything “first class”, without a guarantee that the package will be flying in the front part of the cargo section, being catered to by flight attendants.
