U.S. & World History – “Jack the Ripper” is the most famous serial killer in the world and allegedly went on his rampage in 1888 and 1889. The headquarters of the Metropolitan Police in London, England (Scotland Yard) has now revealed some history changing information. They state that he never killed anyone, and he was initially called “Jack the Rapper”, but the newspapers made a typographical error that stuck.

The police called him “Jack the Rapper” because he would briefly kidnap  women and force them to listen to him “rap” lyrics… without music. The abducted women said that what was particularly irritating if not outright torturous, was when he made up words that didn’t exist, just so they would rhyme with other words. Scotland Yard concluded by saying that the true identity of “Jack the Rapper” may never be known, but they believe that he left Great Britain around 1902 and changed his name to Dr. Seuss.
