U.S. and World History – On October 26, 1881, in Tombstone, Arizona, Wyatt Earp, his two brothers and Doc Holiday, shot it out with the Clantons and McLaurys in a famous deadly brawl. In less than a minute, three people were killed and three were wounded. A little known fact is, both sides were intense rivals from competing floral shops in the same town. Even though the name of the historical battle was changed, it was initially called “The Gunfight at Bouquet Corral.”
