BREAKING NEWS – Cambridge, Massachusetts -The dean of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government Douglas W. Elmendorf, has announced that the school has withdrawn its invitation to convicted WikiLeaks leaker Chelsea Manning to serve as a visiting fellow. Manning, a 29-year-old transgender woman, formerly known as Bradley Manning, was released May 17 from a military prison in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, after serving seven years of a 35-year sentence. She was convicted for espionage (giving 700,000 military and State Department documents to WikiLeaks). Elmendorf said Manning planned on discussing the Cold War, the readiness of the U.S. military, and why she prefers Mary Kay products over Avon.
