BREAKING NEWS – Little Rock, Arkansas – Two Arkansas death row inmates, Marcel Williams and Stacey Eugene Johnson, have asked a federal judge to halt their executions because they say they are too obese. Williams’ lawyer writes in a brief that Williams gained 200 pounds while in prison and that when he went to prison he weighed 195 pounds. Johnson’s lawyer said his client is now tipping the scale at 350. After viewing both filings, U.S. District Judge Kristine Baker refused to stop both executions, but felt she reached a compromise by ordering the prison to use a lethal ejection that had very few calories.
